About Me

I’m a second year Ph.D. student in the Computer Science Department at Stanford University. My advisor is Jeffrey Heer, and my research focuses on visualizing and modeling human behavior using data from large online social networks and communities. Never one to settle down, I’ve been splitting my time between the HCI Group and the InfoLab.

Prior to joining Stanford, I worked with Peter Pirolli in the Augmented Social Cognition Group at PARC on a number of projects in the area of social computing and cognition, in areas ranging from social search to enterprise collaboration to modeling learning activities on the web.

Research keywords: computational social science, social networks, social media, web 2.0
